On June 7, 2025, Martin Mitchell sought emergency care at WVU Wheeling Hospital. He was denied treatment despite visible distress and a spreading lesion. After requesting a patient advocate and being ignored, he was forcibly removed from the premises.
He then drove himself to East Liverpool City Hospital where he was immediately triaged, given antibiotics, and treated with compassion. His records and testimony have been converted into Scroll 083 as public evidence.
